The development of modern materials does not stand still, the market has a wide variety of gas pipes of various manufacturers. Pipes of both traditional metal and new polymeric materials are presented. The second are divided into two categories – made of plastic (PVC) and polyethylene (PND, PVD). Polyethylene is cheaper, but plastic is stronger.
When choosing, it is worth considering the length of the gas pipeline, its purpose, conditions for laying. For example, if you want to gasify a cottage on which you do not spend so much time, select a pipe without increased strength, usually used just for communications. If you are building a house, select pipe from polyvinyl chloride. Its life is long enough and in ten years you will not have to lay a new gas pipeline.
It all depends on the length of the length of the pipe – the plastic pipes are theoretically not limited in it, since they are produced by the technology of stretching of polymer crumbs. Although in practice the length is nevertheless limited to the size of the production premises. Also, if an aesthetic look is important, then it is worth considering which pipes from which material are laid on top, and which are underground.
