Bosch invited women to think about how to use the Internet of things

Bosch industrial giant launched a new competition for women of Great Britain. The company offers young ladies to think about how to use IoT to make the world better.

At the moment, only 7% of engineers in the UK women. Bosch intends not only to rectify the situation, but also to use a female vision for technology development.

Three winners will receive a year of mentoring from Bosch engineers and the possibility of a paid visit to modern Bosch research centers in Germany.

Bosch president in the UK said that Britain is not enough new engineers, and the problem is aggravated by the lack of women who want to choose this profession. He believes that women have a special ability to solve some engineering problems, including they have imagination. The competition that the company announced is aimed just to demonstrate the possibilities of female imagination when it comes to engineering problems.

Young girls aged 18 to 25 years will be able to take part in the competition. They will need to describe technologies that, using the Internet technology of things (IoT), will be able to make the world better. The competition will be held from March to May, and the winners will be announced on June 23.
