Features of medical equipment for microdialysis

Microdialysis is a highly informative method based on invasive collection of tissue samples over a long period of time and detection of their chemical composition, used in early diagnosis of the appearance and escalation of ischemia, in areas where catheters have been implanted. It is also used in the control of the applied therapy.

It allows to study the transformation processes of glucose metabolism in the context of changes in its concentration and increase in lactic acid content. The special reagents used show these changes, particularly reflecting the composition of lactate, glucose, glycerol, pyruvate and glutamate, diagnose the escalation of ischemia in cells in its early stage. It is obligatory to deliver the medical equipment for microdialysis to all medical institutions working with the problems of treating diseases with this pattern, as well as for research centers studying the methodology of combating the disease. The results obtained, depending on the equipment model, are presented as graphs on the touch screens of the instruments.
