MOSCOW, November 30 – RIA Novosti. Union of Russian Cement manufacturers (SoyuzCement) expects cement production to increase by 15% to 58 million tons in 2011, according to a press release from the organization.
As established therein, the members of the union consider the size of cement production for 2010 at 50.4 million tons. In this case, the size of consumption of cement, according to their estimates, must be 49 million tons in the year.
“The volume of export deliveries by the end of 2010 will amount to 1.47 million tons (a 7% increase compared to 2009),” – added in a press release.
It draws attention to the fact that next year cement exports may increase by 50% thanks to the Russian government’s conclusion to abolish export duties on cement.
Union of Russian Cement Producers – a non-profit organization, which brings together the main cement producers in Russia, research so design organizations, but among other things, firms in the field of engineering activities for the cement industry.
